DigitalOcean Give a $50 Free Credit to Students

DigitalOcean has become a partner of the Github Education Pack on October 7, 2014. Since then, DigitalOcean offers each student that signs up a $50 in DO Credit, allowing them to host their projects on the growing startup’s cloud infrastructure platform.

All students who are 13+ and enrolled in a degree or diploma granting course of study can sign up. If you’re a student who wishes get this code, just follow the steps below:

  1. Visit to Github Student Developer Pack and create a new account using your Schools E-Mail address.
  2. Then wait for a response from GitHub. It usually takes about one business day for them to review and approve your request.
  3. Once you are approved, GitHub will send you an email with some promotional codes of the tools of the Student Developer Pack program, of course including the $50 code of Digital Ocean.
  4. Create account at DigitalOcean then use that code, you will have a $50 USD in account credit.
